Sharm El Sheikh #Marine life

For the sea life lovers, Sharm El Sheikh is the best choice! Most hotels have coral coasts and are rich in wildlife. If you read a story, most people will highlight this wonderful water world!

Those who have been there are likely to confirm that the Red Sea is actually a big aquarium. Don't get home without snorkeling and / or diving! Over 1300 species of fish live here, which also indicates what to prepare for when you dive into the sea!

Not only the fish but also the coral reef is one of the most beautiful in the world! This is because most of the reefs in Egypt are among the youngest of the reefs. These are the richest places in the aquatic life!

Most of the coral coasts have beaches that are deeper than most, but of course there is also a shallow beach!

Unlike Hurghada, hotels are concentrated here in a smaller area with no great distances.

For those who want a nightlife, the Naama Bay and the Soho Square are a must. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, bars outside of hotels, making life outside of Sharm El Sheikh one of the three places.

Many optional programs are also available from here. The famous Petra town of Jordan, the Ras Mohamed park and dolphin swimming are popular.

Hurghada

Undoubtedly the most popular in Hurghada, as there are many hotels within 10 km, from the simplest 4-star to the luxury 5-star. Anyone who can't find the right one here won't go anywhere!

As a result, there are many kid-friendly hotels and some large aquaparks. (I visited and recommend the Albatros Aqua Park Resort) What's more, most hotels have a slow-moving beach, ideal for smaller ones. For children, Hurghada is probably the best choice!

The hotels between the airport and downtown have a great life. There are many hotels in a row here, several of the 4 and 5 stars we recommend:

Many companies from Hurghada offer an optional program. If you want to explore Luxor or Cairo, here is the closest!

Anyone interested in Red Sea wildlife and important to snorkeling and diving must already be selected. The beaches of the hotels along the Makadi Bay and Sahl Hasheesh Bay are coral, where you can discover beautiful wildlife.

It is important to note that in Hurghada the tide phenomenon is strong, so many hotels have periods when the sea is very receding. During this time, you can swim in the water, or just walk a lot, which can cause inconvenience to those who want to swim. If you do not find any information in the hotel description, feel free to ask us!

First Observations in Egypt

Tax evasion?

Many tourists wonder why roofs in Egypt are not ready (or even where they are partially missing). Explanation: As long as a house has no finished roof, the building is not considered complete and therefore no property tax is payable.

Si vis pacem, para bellum...

I did not like the constant and visible presence of armed soldiers - although in Europe, the sight of young, barreled machine gun guys in the sandbags guarded the locals is happy with this sight, it is their security and they also like their soldiers. So let us do so, they will look after us.

Skin cancer?

Many Egyptian men had dark brown patches on their heads, including the waiters at the hotel. Our companion was shocked that this was really skin cancer. This is because they prick their heads to the ground while praying. The bigger the patch, the more proud they are of it. That's why we saw so many women in black dresses. They mourn for two years, until then they are in a black veil.

Drive

The Egyptians are savages when sitting in front of the car's steering wheel, and are generally good-hearted, inquisitive, helpful spirits. They are extremely family-oriented and love children. Small children of tourist families are warmly welcomed everywhere.
